We are celebrating 20 years in commercial real estate as a company! Intermountain Commercial Real Estate (ICRE) was founded in June of 2003 in Boise, Idaho with the vision of providing the most focused boutique commercial brokerage in the Treasure Valley.

With over sixty years of combined real estate experience, the firm was established with a fundamental principal in mind: “To deliver superior service through respect, integrity, and attention to detail.”

Gary Buentgen, SIOR, CCIM, one of the founding partners, moved to Idaho in 1992 after years in the commercial real estate business in Southern California. Gary specializes in land, industrial, and investment brokerage.

In the early 2010s, Jim Hosac, Wendy Shoemaker, and Darin Burrell joined the team, bringing expertise in leasing and sales for retail, office, land, industrial, and investment transactions. By the end of the decade, Jim, Wendy, and Darin were made partners at ICRE. Christian Harris joined the team in 2015 offering service in industrial and land transactions with Gary Buentgen. In 2019, Seth McCormack joined the team specializing in retail brokerage with Darin Burrell, followed by Rachel Gall as the Marketing & Office Manager.

ICRE has worked with several office buildings in downtown Boise over the years, including Zions Bank building, and the historic McCarty and Hoff buildings.

ICRE has also represented many national and regional retail clients such as Panda Express, Arby’s, T-Mobile, and recently had the opportunity to bring in several In-N-Out Burger locations to Southern Idaho.

On the land and industrial side, ICRE has been involved in a wide variety of transactions representing major corporate, institutional, and individual clients.
